Host family/shared ownership
I am currently looking for foster families for future breeders who will be added to my breeding program in the coming months. As breeders we must share ourselves between our family dogs, adults in mating, new mothers and their litters as well as our personal lives (work, family, etc.). In order to offer our breeders the chance to have a fulfilled family life, with a master available for them, who does not have to share his love and attention with other animals, who can offer him walks, outings, trips, giving him lots of experiences, teaching him things and making him take courses of all kinds. Sometimes we want to place a dog in foster care. I am therefore looking for rare gems who would be interested in having my magnificent future curls under their responsibility. Placing one of my dogs in foster care means that the animal is placed with a family that agrees to care for it and agrees to comply with the terms of my placement contract. The dog remains the property of EM Perfectum breeding as it appears on its CKC registration certificate for the entire duration of the placement. When the dog is removed from my breeding program, it becomes yours for the rest of its life. We then give you a property transfer contract in your name and its registration certificate.
Who can be a host family and what are the commitments?

-
You must live within a reasonable distance of Trois-Rivières.
-
You must have a car and be able to travel to bring the dog to me for mating or health exams.
-
If you already have a dog it must be sterilized. If you acquire another dog in the future it must also be.
-
You must have time for him. Taking kindergarten classes will be compulsory. Subsequently, a range of different activities and courses are offered in our region to which I can refer you.
-
You are responsible for all regular care: veterinarian, grooming (every 4 to 6 weeks maximum), feeding, entertainment (toys, chewing activities, etc.)
-
Must be fed a quality food that I will have to approve. I have a preference for raw food but certain brands of kibble can also be suitable.
-
You must take out insurance for your protégé's health care.
-
You must have a fenced yard without exception.
-
You must commit to practicing different dog sports depending on the abilities and preferences of your poodle.
Placing a male requires availability to bring him to the breeder for mating over several years. Additionally, vigilance is necessary at all times with a breeding male (they can smell females in heat from several kilometers away). Of course, it is absolutely forbidden for the host family to use it for their personal purposes.

Placing a female requires availability to bring her to the breeder for mating for a few years (maximum of 3 litters per female). Vigilance is also required with an intact female, particularly during her heat which normally occurs twice a year. You must also be prepared to leave your dog with me for delivery and to take care of her puppies for the following 10 weeks.
One of the puppies I am looking for a foster home for will come from the United States and will be a standard small (both parents are 40 pounds). He comes from a breeder in Ohio who takes careful care of her puppies and works with the same socialization programs as me. I also plan to keep 1 or 2 babies from my breeder if all goes well. Contact me by email, messenger or call me for more information. You can also click here to view the contract that you agree to respect when you become a host family with me.
